From where I write in Portharcourt a big custard of crayfish is N4500. If you are buying directly from Oron you can get it for about N60,000 for a big bag. A big bag from Oron contains about 30 big custard containers.
When you resell 30 custard cups at N4500 each you get N135,000, making a profit of about N70k per bag.
If you want to buy from wholesalers you may get it at 20 big custard cups at about N70,000. Selling 20 big custard cups at N4500 each you get about N90,000, making a profit of N20,000 per bag.
WHERE TO SOURCE
You can get crayfish from Oron in Akwaibom state, from Delta state, from Ondo state, Rivers state, and Crossriver state. But Oron crayfish is said to have the best quality
STORAGE:
Put your crayfish on a wooden plank, don’t let it touch the wall so it doesn’t get moist.
WHERE TO MARKET
Go to your local market, there are so many market women in every local market looking for who to supply them with crayfish
