THE JURISPRUDENCE OF OWNERSHIP UNDER THE LAND USE ACT
ABSTRACT
This work discusses the jurisprudence of ownership under the land use act. A hundred and twenty questionnaires were shared amongst real estate legal practitioners from selected states in Nigeria. Interviews and surveys were also conducted.
Primary and secondary data were used the analysis. Simple percentages and tables were used as instruments of analysis.
It was observed therefore that the jurisprudence of ownership under the land use act of 1978 have a significant impact on the development of Nigeria. There is a strong relationship between the land use act and the development of the Nigerian economy
