SECURITY VALUATION AND PRICE MOVEMENT IN THE NIGERIAN STOCK EXCHANGE.
ABSTRACT
This research presents the movement of stock prices in the Nigerian stock Exchange, and also the valuation of such securities at both primary and secondary markets. In this work, some selected companies and financial institutions that are registered in the Stock Exchange are used. A careful analysis was conducted on the stock price movement for
each of the selected companies using the fundamental approach (multiple P/E) to the forecasting of shares.
The research work also help to examine how efficient is the Nigerian Capital Market, especially with respect to security pricing. At the end of this presentation some far researching advice were given which can assist to improve the activities of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
