Atiku Dey Carry Him Supporters Go Where Dem No Know: Funny Responses As Wike Endorses Sanwo Olu
Help me e dey carry me go where I no know, was a famous cry by a Road Traffic Officer who was caught in a wrong brawl with a commercial motorist, the lady kept screaming “Help Me E Dey Carry Me Go Where I No Know” with extreme terror in her eyes as the driver kept pressing the throttle pedal.
That phrase has been used as an intro to many songs and social media skits, and it represents someone being forced on an unknown journey by another.
Social media users have responded to the trending news of Nyesom Wike endorsing Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu, claiming that Wike is on his way to supporting the APC in the general elections.
This was what Wike said that is tearing the roof down, “Good governance is what I stand for. I will not regret to say that I am in support of Sanwo-Olu for second term. Others should not waste their time.”
From the foregoing, it is apparent that Wike is certain and on the verge of dumping Atiku, the presidential candidate of his party, the PDP, for the APC. In terms of the presidential elections in 2023, Lagos represents Tinubu.
Both the PDP and the LP have candidates running for governor in Lagos State, but the governor of Rivers State decided to stick with the APC, demonstrating his position that Atiku must be defeated no matter what.
What kind of maneuvers does Atiku intend to pull off with Wike dragging four other Governors out of the PDP? This is similar to how Goodluck Jonathan lost the fight in 2015 when five Governors broke away from the PDP and formed an alliance with the opposition APC, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Here is a brief reaction to Atiku’s eminent loss with his refusal to form an alliance with Nyesom Wike.
“Atiku don dey carry him supporters go where dem know sabi o, it is only proper Atiku stands on honor and justice but because he has opted to promote a selfish agenda, which he labels the Northern agenda, he will suffer for it. I see Tinubu benefiting from these crises.”- Idehen Osamuyi.
“Wike is pressing the neck of his party. As dey say he no go sleep, them too no go sleep. Sustain the pressure sir” -Peter Oghenemarho Unuode
“The President of the G5 states has approved Governor Sanwo-olu for a second term; Atiku is finished; pride, as they say, comes before a fall.” – Prince Ifeanyi Sunday
“I love the way Wike is dealing with this northern cabal in PDP that think power is their birthright” – Andy Best.
“Atiku and his Northern cabals are too greedy. His government will be too tribalistic that will favor only the North. He has met the perfect match in Wike” – Callistus
“Wike na baaaad guy I swear… Always strategic in everything he does.. 2023 no far make God spare us we go see wetin go happen for this country. Weda we dey home or abroad” Nairaland User.
Atiku appears to be sinking more into an unavoidable crisis; what do you think of Nyesom Wike fully supporting the APC governorship candidate in Lagos, the most significant state with the greatest voter registration?
